What the heart has to do is to have straight , honest intentions , to avoid haughtiness , always to be patient , to keep your senses under control , and to have a cheerful mind . मन का काम है निश्छलता और ईमानदारी के विचार रखना , अहंकार न करना , सदा संतोष से काम लेना , अपनी इंद्रियों को वश में रखना और प्रफुल्लमन रहना .

Whatever the affliction and Rabindranath had his full share he never succumbed to morbidity which he considered as a disease of the mind worse than any disease of the body . जितनी भी पीड़ा या जितना भी दुख था , रवीन्द्रनाथ को उन सबका पूरा पूरा अंश मिला हुआ था.मृत्यु-भय को वे तन के रोग से कहीं अधिक बुरा मन का रोग समझते थे .

One can discover the godhead that is within him . It is easy to scoff at this . But here is a man giving expression to his earnest longing to realise the godhead himself . ” जिस दूसरे महान आदर्श की तरफ उन्होंने संकेत किया है , वह उनके मन का विश्वास है कि ईश्वर को देख पाना संभव है , वास्तविक रूप में नहीं , बल्कि हिंदू धर्म के अनुसार ईश्वर को अपने मानस में देखकर मनुष्य अपने भीतर के ईश्वरत्व को पा सकता है .
